Be Infectious

Romans 6:1-2 (NLV)  What does this mean? Are we to keep on sinning so that God will give us more of His loving-favor? No, not at all! We are dead to sin. How then can we keep on living in sin?

Peer pressure in today’s society is definitely a very sad reality. So often people excuse their choices by using “in today’s day” it’s just different, or they simply abuse God’s grace and mercy… Is that what scripture says to do? Surely not! Continue reading

Faith like a Mustard Seed

Matthew 17:20 (NIV) He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

So often we are challenged on how big our faith is and more often than not we doubt our faith. Yet it’s written so clear that faith just as big as a mustard seed can move mountains.

In this life we will be faced with multiple mountains and our faith will be put to the test. At that moment we simply need to remember that no matter how small our faith may seem, it has the potential to grow as we keep facing mountains and witness them be moved by our faith and our Heavenly Father is right by our side cheering us on!!!

Plant the Seed

Mark 4:30-32 (NIV) Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? 31 It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. 32 Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”

So often we find ourselves in situations where we can’t see how we could possibly have any impact… Well, I encourage you to keep in mind that our purpose is to just plant the seed!

A seed will grow with time into it’s fullness. We should always remember that growth starts at the roots, underneath the surface where it can’t be seen. Trees, flowers, plants all grow at different speed, the same goes for a seed that we are called to plant in someone’s life! We may not get the benefit of reaping it’s harvest BUT we can know for certain that it will take root!

Shine Bright

John 1:5 (NLT) The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Your Heavenly Father has equipped you to shine bright as only You can shine! Your light and love is what will cast out darkness around you. His light and love are embedded in you and have taken such deep roots that it can never be taken from you. Continue reading

How do you see HIM?

Psalm 22:28 (NIV) for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations.

How do you see God? Do you just go with what teachers and others around you say or do you have your own intimate relationship with Him? Do you press in to know Him more? Continue reading

Break Free

Matthew 9:26 (NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

How often do we allow fear to overtake us and we forget that through God all things are possible? … Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice for us because God loves us beyond our understanding. Seeing us fearful and intimidated by our circumstances saddens Him deeply. Whatever burden has you chained down and out of fear you have avoided to break free or simply felt like you don’t know how, He gave you all the tools necessary to conquer it all! Continue reading

Stop the WHY

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Every time you allow yourself to question God or question all kinds of “why’s” it slowly diminishes hope and opens the door to unbelief. Continue reading

Stones of Remembrance

Joshua 4: 4-7 (NIV) So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”

When the temptation of losing our faith comes knocking during the times of trials remember the Stones of Remembrance! Remember the fulfilled promises our Heavenly Father gave you already, remember the prayers He’s answered, remember His miracles. There are NO coincidences with Him, every little thing He has planned out. It may not make sense to us or align with how we think it should look like but that’s the greatness of our God, He always knows better then we ever could!

Heavenly Attention

Psalm 62:11-12 (TPT) God said to me once and for all, “All the strength and power you need flows from me!” And again I heard it clearly said,  “All the love you need is found in me!”

And it’s true that you repay people for what they do.

Do you at times feel like you need recognition or attention from the people around you? Continue reading

Let Me clear the Path

1 Kings 19:11-13 (VOICE) Eternal One:  Leave this cave, and go stand on the mountainside in My presence. The Eternal passed by him. The mighty wind separated the mountains and crumbled every stone before the Eternal. This was not a divine wind, for the Eternal was not within this wind. After the wind passed through, an earthquake shook the earth. This was not a divine quake, for the Eternal was not within this earthquake.  After the earthquake was over, there was a fire. This was not a divine fire, for the Eternal was not within this fire. After the fire died out, there was nothing but the sound of a calm breeze. And through this breeze a gentle, quiet voice entered into Elijah’s ears. He covered his face with his cloak and went to the mouth of the cave. Suddenly, Elijah was surprised. Eternal One: Why are you here, Elijah? What is it that you desire?
