1 Kings 19:11-13 (VOICE) Eternal One:  Leave this cave, and go stand on the mountainside in My presence. The Eternal passed by him. The mighty wind separated the mountains and crumbled every stone before the Eternal. This was not a divine wind, for the Eternal was not within this wind. After the wind passed through, an earthquake shook the earth. This was not a divine quake, for the Eternal was not within this earthquake.  After the earthquake was over, there was a fire. This was not a divine fire, for the Eternal was not within this fire. After the fire died out, there was nothing but the sound of a calm breeze. And through this breeze a gentle, quiet voice entered into Elijah’s ears. He covered his face with his cloak and went to the mouth of the cave. Suddenly, Elijah was surprised. Eternal One: Why are you here, Elijah? What is it that you desire?

Is He not worthy of our sacrifice? Is He not deserving of our obedience?

Let go of the noise that fogs His Still Voice. You may ask how you can hear God, yet you’re busy letting useless clutter clog the connection… Draw nearer to Him and He will draw nearer to you! When your eyes are fixed on Him and you’re willing to sacrifice the worldly things that keep you from hearing His Still Voice, He will overwhelm you with His presence and His tender touch. You won’t be able to get enough of it, which is exactly what He craves from you. He’s a fiercely jealous God, He wants to be your number ONE… Just like you are His!

You want more of Him and to hear HIS voice? Then ask His help to cleanse your inside clutter, then the path is clear and bright.

1 Samuel 12:15 (VOICE) But if you ignore His voice, if you disobey the commands of the Eternal, then His mighty hand of judgment will be raised against you and against your ancestors.

Hebrews 3:15 (NLT) Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”
