Discernment in Prophecy

“For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.” – 1 Corinthians 14:31

Prophecy is a gift given to the body of Christ not to confuse, but to strengthen, encourage, and edify. When the Lord releases a word through His Spirit, it is meant to draw you closer to Him, to build up your faith, and to remind you of His truth. Yet we must remember: not every voice that speaks is from the Holy Spirit. The enemy also knows Scripture; he has twisted it from the very beginning (Genesis 3:1–5, Matthew 4:6). Follow My Path

Romans 8:28 (VOICE) We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.

No treasures this world has to offer could ever compare to what our Heavenly Father has prepared for us when we simply follow His path. It’s so easy to be blinded by material things and money but that’s not what will give us unsurpassed joy and peace. It will only offer temporary pleasure but the deep emptiness still remains.

Truth is that only our Abba can fulfill that deep aching desire for true fulfillment! Regardless of your circumstances you can’t help but be joyful when He is your driving force. When we simply follow His path, His plan for us will supersede our plans. Trust that His plan for you is greater than what this world is wanting to seduce you with…

Let Me clear the Path

1 Kings 19:11-13 (VOICE) Eternal One:  Leave this cave, and go stand on the mountainside in My presence. The Eternal passed by him. The mighty wind separated the mountains and crumbled every stone before the Eternal. This was not a divine wind, for the Eternal was not within this wind. After the wind passed through, an earthquake shook the earth. This was not a divine quake, for the Eternal was not within this earthquake.  After the earthquake was over, there was a fire. This was not a divine fire, for the Eternal was not within this fire. After the fire died out, there was nothing but the sound of a calm breeze. And through this breeze a gentle, quiet voice entered into Elijah’s ears. He covered his face with his cloak and went to the mouth of the cave. Suddenly, Elijah was surprised. Eternal One: Why are you here, Elijah? What is it that you desire?
