Stop the WHY

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Every time you allow yourself to question God or question all kinds of “why’s” it slowly diminishes hope and opens the door to unbelief. Continue reading

Allow Yourself to Imagine

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV) But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

So many of us have been hurt in multiple ways by multiple people in multiple circumstances… All those wounds have caused us many times to be insecure, to think ourselves unworthy, insignificant, unloved. Those thoughts that we allowed in have stopped us from being free to imagine God’s promises HE spoke over His children. Continue reading

Stones of Remembrance

Joshua 4: 4-7 (NIV) So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”

When the temptation of losing our faith comes knocking during the times of trials remember the Stones of Remembrance! Remember the fulfilled promises our Heavenly Father gave you already, remember the prayers He’s answered, remember His miracles. There are NO coincidences with Him, every little thing He has planned out. It may not make sense to us or align with how we think it should look like but that’s the greatness of our God, He always knows better then we ever could!

Let go and let HIM

Psalm 23:4 (TPT) Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.

Are you at the brink of despair? Do you feel like you can’t see a way out of where you feel stuck? Like you’re drowning in those dark emotions and can’t seem to reach the surface where the light shines…  That’s exactly the place where HE will meet you in the most intimate way! Continue reading
